What We're Trying To Do

First...

We want to publish literature of exceptional quality and beauty. We accept submissions across fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.

Second...

Much remains to be done to make literature inclusive. This means boosting the voices of amazing writers who might otherwise be passed over.

Gnarled Red Line is our small contribution to promoting the voices of the 'Global Minorities.'

Meet The Team

Darren Gillen, Founder & Co-Editor

Darren grew up in Greystones, Co. Wicklow.

He writes short stories and novellas.

Darren is responsible for the fiction and cartoon artwork submissions to Gnarled Red Line.

Adam Sabbatelli-Goodyer, Co-Editor

Adam grew up in Cambridge and read Philosophy at Oxford.

His poetry has been published in Under the Radar (Nine Arches Press) and performed at St. Martin's in the Fields in London. He has been shortlisted for the Bridport poetry prize and the Rialto nature poetry prize.

Adam is responsible for the poetry and non-fiction submissions to Gnarled Red Line.

Ed Keane, Co-Editor

Ed grew up in Waterford, Ireland.

He writes short stories.
